  Rooms have no ventilation, beware of the buffets, the food looks cold and there was cockroaches about... we told them about it and they moved us to a better room. At least the service is good

  2 rooftop pools with sun loungers. Small kitchen in room with fridge. No air conditioning, but big windows onto the balcony. Great location in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz, but not too noisy. For the price we paid (about $20 per night sc), it can't be beaten. Would be nice if there were fans in the rooms.

  Cheap and cheerful. No English TV channels. Wi-Fi works well though so can watch Netflix or virgin and sky on demand on tablets. Never ate in the restaurant. Pool is small but it's never busy so pretty much your own pool plus the roof is connected to tropical hotel next door and they have a pool too. Apartment a bit shabby, oven door falling off and cupboard doors but I don't really care about daft things like that. You get what you pay for folks and this did the job for a ten day three person holiday cheaply. Masses of restaurants and bars around, couple of beaches, loads of tat shops and good shops.

  Great location, great hotel staff but rooms are in need of refurb (appliances etc). Service fantastic.
